Real Kids Shades Provides Eye Protection from Sun Damage Review

During our visit to Fort Tryon Park, I made sure my son's eye were protected with a pair of Real Kids Shades. I think sometimes that parents forget our children need to protect their eyes also.

Now putting shades on my son is easier said then done. Once outside he just wants to go go go. To make sure he was able to keep the shades on I used the optional neoprene strap. The shades fit nice and snug and stayed on even while my son was running!

With summer outing and travel about to happen, I think it's important to add Real Kids Shades to your kids sun care bag.

Did you know that The American Academy of Pediatrics says that children's eyes are at increased risk for permanent damage from sunlight until they are at least 10 years old?! Why? Because their eyes are highly sensitive and still developing!

Real Kids Shades

The Real Kids Shades line of protective sunglasses provides 100% UV-A and UV-B ray protection and are made of impact-resistant, shatterproof polycarbonate frames and lenses, as recommended by Prevent Blindness America, and endorsed by the Melanoma International Foundation.

Designed for children 12 and under, Real Kids Shades provides serious protection and real value in children's sunglasses, in a range of colors and styles especially designed for babies, toddlers, young children and tweens.

For children active in sports, they provide venting, anti-glare, and anti-fog properties. Several styles are even made to float so they won't be lost by water sports enthusiasts. They come in a wide assortment of shatterproof polycarbonate frames and lenses with either adjustable neoprene bands, rubber flex, or matte metallic finishes, and can be fitted with prescription lenses.

Real Kids Shades meets the strictest American, European and Australian standards in eye protection, and are Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) compliant, CE Certified and FDA Approved for protecting children's eyes. Suggested retail prices start at $14.99 to $19.99.
