Pur Minerals Spring Collection Makeup Review

By 3/22/2011 07:08:00 PM , ,

This year I'm learning how to use makeup again. When I learned that the Pur Minerals Spring 2011 collection were inspired by the allure of the tropics and featured exotic colors I had to review them. Spring is the perfect time to be use color in makeup.

Note: I was invited to the event as press and received product samples for review purposes.  Views expressed are always 100% my own.
"These vibrant shades for spring breathe life into any beauty routine,” says Pür Minerals resident makeup artist Jackie Gomez. "From island-inspired hues to exotic shades, the new Pür palettes are a great way to transition from winter to spring."

Pur Minerals fall 2010

Last year during a Pur Minerals fall 2010 collection event I met celebrity makeup artist, Jackie Gomez, who introduced me to the line. During the event Jackie explained Pur Minerals are free of talc, chemical dyes, petroleum-based oils and fillers.

This makes this line of makeup great for all skin types. Jackie also showed me how to start introducing makeup to my mommy lifestyle. LOL. I confess since becoming a mom wearing makeup hasn't been much of any option.

My Review:

I loved testing out the Nature’s Paradise eye shadow. The colors worked great with my darker skin tones and made me feel like spring was in the air. I still need to learn how to use the Exotic Rocks Trio but I'm sure once I do I'll have that wonderful summer glow.

My favorite of the 3 is the Work It Off Exfoliating Serum. I love that just a little bit moisturizes my face while gently exfoliates away the winter dry and dull skin. I use it everyday with no problem and my skin looks and feels great! Love that stuff.

But this year makeup IS an option and on some days a must! So if your a mom like me looking to get back into wearing makeup, let me share with you what the Pur Minerals Spring 2011 collection has to offer
