Wintuk was one of the main attractions at the Fall Kids Fest in Madison Square Park recently. In part it was a kick off from Cirque du Soleil and MSG Entertainment for the final season of this popluar winter show. The final season will be from November 17, 2010 to January 2, 2011. During the festival there was special performances that included a Wintuk Hoops Act and a photo opportunity with the Wintuk Dogs and performers.
While at the Wintuk Booth I learned about the launch of the $1 Million Snow Day campaign, where 100 lucky fans will share $1 million if it snows in New York City on November 17. From now through November 9, 2010, ‘snow’ fans (18 years & older) are encouraged to enter the $1 Million Snow Day by visiting www.cirquedusoleil.com/wintuksnowday
On the website, participants can also download an interactive "snow note" to be shared with friends and family to encourage them to join the winter fun. The ‘snow note’ makes snow "fall" on your desktop through social media applications.
On November 10, 100 winners will be randomly selected and announced giving them an entire week to keep an eye on the weather forecast and their fingers crossed in hopes of a snowfall on November 17. As an added bonus, all 100 winners will receive two complimentary tickets to a private dress rehearsal of Wintuk. The $1 Million Snow Day campaign is open to all US residents (excluding Florida)
Wintuk tickets prices: $30 - $115 with special 30% discount for children's tickets in select categories. For tickets information: www.cirquedusoleil.com/wintuk or www.theateratmsg.com
