The Blackberry Diaries Review & Giveaway CLOSED

A few weeks back I posted about being a techie mom and wondered how technology would fit into my life as my son grows. Well, after reading this book and interviewing the author Kathy Buckworth, an award winning writer, television personality and public speaker, I found some interesting answers.

ABOUT THE BOOK

The BlackBerry Diaries: Adventures in Modern Motherhood is a no-holds-barred trip through the wacky world of toddlers and technology. Kathy takes the reader through a year-long blog account of life with her new BlackBerry and how, as a Mississauga, Ont.-based mother of four, her two worlds — technology and children — collide.

The relationship between a BlackBerry and its owner is not unlike that of a mother and her newborn baby, says Kathy in her book. Her book is about the joys and drawbacks of owning a smart-phone, mixed with musings about parenthood.

MY REVIEW

The BlackBerry Diaries is a great book filled with great advice, personal mommy stories and most of all humor. As mom we so need some humor in our lives! This is an easy to read book since it's made up of blog posts. Each entry is filled with a witty but personal thought, story or words of advice on a range of parenting issues. There's even a section about husbands and fathers and how they compare to a Blackberry.

I liked this book so much that I’m doing a giveaway for 5 books so other moms...techie or not...can get a chance to read and enjoy.
